NSW mother who suffered six miscarriages creates network

After conceiving her first boy easily at age 24, Gabbi Lance armstrong never likely to face any challenges come the next time around.

However a decade later, Ms Lance armstrong, now 45, was confronted with a lengthy and arduous In vitro fertilization treatments journey, suffering six miscarriages inside a couple of years. 

‘When I had been 34 I remarried, and my spouse and i began trying for any baby immediately,A she recalls.

‘I could not happen to be more mistaken. We wound up doing eight full models of In vitro fertilization treatments and something frozen cycle, transferring as many as 19 A-grade embryos, with simply no hint of the pregnancy,’ she adds. 

Ms Lance armstrong and her husband Cameron, considered using donor eggs, but for their surprise the pair discovered these were pregnant.

‘I had my first miscarriage seven several weeks after my boy Hugh was created,A Ms Lance armstrong states. 

‘To be pregnant again naturally would be a huge surprise’.

Ms Lance armstrong, who resides in the NSW Southern Highlands together with her family, states being pregnant was running smoothly up to the ten-week mark when she saw a place of bloodstream and went to obtain an ultrasound.

‘As soon when i saw my little baby on screen, totally still with no manifestation of a flickering heartbeat, my world crumbled,’ she states.

‘I was completely floored and absolutely heartbroken.

‘We had three embryos on ice in one particular In vitro fertilization treatments cycle after the miscarriage, we made the decision for their services.

‘The first embryo transfer did not work and also the second led to our boy, Samuel.’

During her attempt to possess a 4th child, Ms Lance armstrong endured an additional five miscarriages – all between 6 to 8 days.

Ms Lance armstrong states a main issue with the silence surrounding miscarriage relates to ‘the guilt or shame a lady feels in the grief they’re feeling because of their loss’.

‘If society could be better educated round the emotional toll of miscarriage and acknowledge the functional loss it entails for ladies as well as their partners, it’ll go a lengthy means by helping women to more supported.’
